Park Center Plaza-San Jose California-Public Sculpture



In 1983,Gallery Edna Young of San Jose California, together with Pamela Buttery a Partner of “Buttery and Buttery Developers Corporation” of San Francisco, organized a Public Sculpture competition with the intent of purchasing the winning sculptures and placing them in the Park Center Plaza of the city of San Jose.
My sculpture “Space Dance for Peace No; I” made of ½”corten steel plate, measuring 12’x12’x12’ was the winner, together with John Battemberg, Harry Powers and Allan Osborne.
“Space Dance for Peace I” has been purchased and installed in Park Center Plaza, and is in the Permanent Public Sculpture Collection of the City of San Jose-California.
